With 3.5 million Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants and $4 billion in global annual sales, Mary Kay is a top beauty brand and direct seller in more than 35 markets around the world.
TCG, as a long-term partner of Mary Kay, designed and developed this APP for Mary Kay’s VIP customers. It is a platform that could help users make use of their fragmented time to learn beauty knowledge, play game to win gifts, receive special tasks and have a lot of fun.
In order to increase the user’s enthusiasm for learning, we applied gamification strategy to the design of beauty knowledge learning feature. Before the learning tasks start, users are allowed to choose a particular cartoon character as their own image, then complete the tasks as playing game to earn scores and gifts
